The Roofline Clean, one pass, one price
Soffit & Fascia Cleaning
The soffits and fascias around your roofline are some of the most visible parts of your home from the street, and they're the first to show green algae, black streaking, and weathering. They're one board line, so we clean them as one job: soffits, fascias and the outside of your gutters in a single pass, using a low-pressure softwash method with biodegradable solutions that lift biological growth without damaging or warping your uPVC.
Free window clean included
Cleaning soffits and fascias pushes dirt and cleaning solution onto the glass below. So we clean your windows at the same time, at no extra charge.

Common questions
- Will softwashing damage my uPVC?
- No. We specifically avoid high-pressure washing on uPVC rooflines. The force can crack, warp or discolour the plastic and drive water behind the boards into the roof space. Our softwash approach uses biodegradable solutions at low pressure, which are effective on biological growth and completely safe for uPVC surfaces.
- Why do soffits and fascias get so green and dirty?
- Britain's damp climate creates ideal conditions for algae and mould to grow on any outdoor surface. North and east-facing rooflines get it worst. They're in shade for much of the day, stay damp longer and receive less UV light that would naturally inhibit growth. Properties near trees are particularly prone as spores spread rapidly in sheltered, moist conditions.
- Does cleaning the soffit vents affect ventilation?
- Quite the opposite. Soffit vents can become partially blocked by algae and debris over time, reducing airflow into the roof space. Poor roof ventilation causes condensation to build up on rafters, leading to damp and timber rot. Keeping vents clear is an important part of proper roof maintenance.
- Can this be done at the same time as gutter clearing?
- Yes, that's the Full Roofline Refresh: everything in the Roofline Clean plus your gutters cleared out inside, at £85 per side instead of booking the two jobs separately. We're already up there, so it's better value in one visit.
- Why is it one price for soffits, fascias and gutter faces?
- Because they're one board line. Cleaning the fascias means working right along the gutter line, and the soffit is the underside of the same assembly. One pass of the equipment covers all three. Charging them as three separate jobs would mean charging you three times for the same trip up the ladder. If you only want one surface done, just ask: £30 per side.
