Transform your outdoor surfaces
Driveway & Patio Cleaning
Years of moss, algae, and ground-in grime are no match for professional pressure washing. We restore block paving, concrete, natural stone, tarmac, and resin surfaces to a clean, safe finish — removing the slip hazards and discolouration that build up on any exposed outdoor surface in the UK climate.
BeforeWhat we fix
Moss-choked paths and side passages
Damp areas with poor drainage become slip hazards and breed grime that climbs the surrounding walls. Heavy moss like this lifts off in a single pass with the right kit — the surface beneath is usually fine, it just needs uncovering.

Common questions
- Will pressure washing damage my block paving or natural stone?
- Not when done correctly. We use a rotary surface cleaner head rather than a direct lance, which distributes pressure evenly and eliminates the streaking and etching that direct pressure can cause. Pressure is adjusted for the surface type — natural stone and sandstone are treated with lower pressure than concrete or tarmac.
- How quickly does moss and algae come back?
- On an untreated surface, biological growth typically begins returning within 12 to 18 months in the UK climate. A sealing treatment applied after cleaning creates a protective barrier that significantly slows regrowth and makes the next clean far easier. We'd recommend sealing after any full clean — ask us about it when you book.
- Can you remove oil stains?
- Yes. Oil and fuel stains are hydrophobic — water alone won't shift them. We apply a specialist degreaser to the affected area and allow it to dwell before washing. Most stains lift significantly, though deep or long-standing stains may not fully disappear. We'll be honest with you about what to expect.
- How long does a typical driveway or patio clean take?
- It depends on the size and condition of the surface. A standard driveway takes two to four hours; a large patio or combined driveway-and-patio job may take a full day. We'll give you a time estimate alongside your quote.
